Competition time again.
As you know (if your one of our regular readers) i have been the daddy blogger for Nuby for a few months, Its great being able to write about such great products and the boys have had a lot of fun trying them out, but now its time to share some with one of our readers. Thanks to Nuby Uk up for grabs is 7 of their great bath items, including my personal favourite 'Squid the Squirter' (all pictured below). To take part in this great competition all you need to do is first like our Facebook page (make sure you do this as it is how we will contact you)...

My fav toy was the good old rubber duck
ReplyDeleteDidn't have any bath toys when I was younger (sob) but my sons favourite was an orange fish which you could suck water up with then blow it back out of his mouth.
ReplyDeleteMe and my sister used to play with the last drops of shampoo ect. and 'mix' a potion lol :D
ReplyDeleteMy fav was my bothers action man. If you wound up his arms he would swim around he bath. I also had a shaving fun ken. I would put shaving foam on him and wit the toy razor shave it off with warm water haha x

ReplyDeleteI used barbie dolls and baby dollies in the bath when I was little lol I would wash their hair and everything :P

ReplyDeleteI've got to be honest, we were just given a few old cups with no handles that we could pour water with and we were happy with that because no-one else had toys either
ReplyDeleteusing empty shampoo bottles to make bubbles, and the mixing all the different shower gels etc to make my own bubble bath that i was convinced should be mass produced :-) lol

ReplyDeleteI had a frog that swam in the bath and rubber ducks where my favourite.But I had many others that I didnt use.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite toy was some stacking blocks. Which I could build up and knock down and two cups to use to pour from one to the other!
ReplyDeleteI loved the pull cord frog and whale. Can't seem to get things like this anymore.
ReplyDeletei remember i used to have many toys in the bath ducks, bath books. My favourite had to be a poppy bath doll, used to have so much fun mum giving me a bath and me giving my doll a bath. xx
ReplyDeleteMy favourite was a little wind up frog that swam in the bath! My little girl also has one now and giggles at it every time!

ReplyDeleteI loved anything to do with the sea and loved diver toys and skulls and treasure chest my bath became a deep sea adventure I was a tomboy and thought I was a pirate in the bath making islands from bubbles and a pirate ship from sponge sailing it thru lol
ReplyDeleteMe and my brother had to take our baths in the river with the little fishes so we would play with them. Sometimes a wild swan would fly over head and take us off on magical adventures...

ReplyDeleteMine was a big turtle thing, i'd love to track one down for my daughter. Its head kind of moved in and out a bit i think. x
ReplyDeleteMine had to be empty shampoo bottles and a jug, i used to pretend i was in the hairdressers getin my hair washd (empty shampoo bottles) then used to drink cold water out oe the jug pretendin it was tea :) hehe xx

ReplyDeletei loved playing with empty shampo bottles but if there wasnt any empty ones i would pour the shampoo/conditioner into the bath and use it as a slide :)
ReplyDeleteI had bath toys but i never had a favourite bath toy, i always played with cups ! Cups with no handles either scooping up the bubbles or pouring water everywhere hehe. Oh i do hope my son doesnttake after me hehe. Tracy laird
ReplyDeleteUsed to love playing with the jug and empty shampoo bottlew,uses to pretend i was serveing people drinks lol. used to spend ages in the bath

I loved playing with yellow ducks and empty bottles. I never wanted to get in the bath but once in my Mum had trouble getting me out :)

ReplyDeleteI had some Fisher Price bath toys, they were 3 figures one sat in a blue jug, one in a boat and the other was in a green ring. Never seen anything like them since.
ReplyDeleteim an 80s baby so mr matey bubble bath and character sponges bath toys have come a long way since then lol xx
ReplyDeleteMy fav bath toy had suction cups and stuck to the bath and you could pour water through the top and wheels would spin like a waterfall.
ReplyDeleteI had a jug, a toy watering can and those cups that had holes in the bottom I used to try and catch the water, little did I know it was not going to work.
ReplyDeleteA jug and some empty shampoo bottles and a fantastic imagination! I made waterfalls, played hair dresser hair dresser, sang in the rain.
ReplyDeleteI never had any "real" bath toys really... but I used to get those stretchy squidgy frogs and monkeys and lizards etc. and they often came in the bath with me :) haven't seen the monkeys in a long time but still occasionally see the frogs in shops :)
ReplyDeleteMy boy loves all things in the bath regardless of whether it is for the bath or not lol this includes toilet rolls. He has ducks and loves bubbles and pouring water.
ReplyDeleteI had a mermaid dolly! I liked to wash her hair and make her swim!
ReplyDeleteI used to pretend I was a wizard and make up potions with shampoo bottles, as well as playing with my mermaid doll and making castles out of the bubbles.

ReplyDeleteI used to love playing with empty plastic bottles, filling them up with water and then emptying them. I was easily amused apparently!
ReplyDeleteDiving mask and a snorkle was my favourite :) my little brother used to take his pet rats in the bath and have them racing lol
ReplyDeleteHa ha yes! Just like Fairydust24 remembers! The turtle which was green on the top of its shell, yellow on the bottom and its head bobbed in and out when in the water. I loved it!
ReplyDeleteDidnt have bath toys :-( but used to be bathed with my twin brother so we allways played with the water together until we moved to a place with a shower :-( would be a grsat bundle for my little girl who allready loves the bath :-)
ReplyDeleteI didnt have bath toys either but I used to mix all the bits of shampoo and conditioner and bath soak together it was great fun got in trouble for it though
ReplyDeleteEmpty shampoo bottles , filled them with soapy water and made bubbles and also played with shells , loved hearing the sound of the sea when you bring the shell near your ear! Reminds me of being at the beach .
