"Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart."

well i had already destroyed a spider-man comic to make the Christmas wreath a couple of days ago and as we don't like to much waste it made sense to use the remainder of the comic for another craft idea. Seth decided that he wanted to make a paper chain for his room to match the wreath (it is all about accessorising after all).

I'm quite sure that everyone knows how to make a paper chain so im not going to bore you with how we did it. The end result came out great and the fact that it matches the Christmas wreath just added to that. Paper chains are a great way of using up excess paper from previous craft activities.

fab idea! I hate 'wasting' old magazines too. The boys used to cut up old Dr Who mags and decorate their cardboard 'tardis' with them. This is such a great idea - my boys are always making paper chains so will suggest this for some of their old mags. x

I always feel really guilty just shoving things in the recycling boxes especially if its nice print. Our craft box of random bits is huge and is only going to get worse at christmas because the boys will have loads of craft things. Thanks for reading xxx

They look great and an easy idea for my 3 year old! I'll send you a photo my hubby's decoupage chair - made from old Beano comic books.
